This one feels super different for me, probably because I painted a background but again I used a very different technique. The flowers were painted with a size zero brush in a very “paint by numbers” style, dabbing strokes in the direction of the petals, and simplifying the image. This one is the piece that taught me just how long yellow oil paint takes to dry...
