I am drawn to the visceral and tactile quality of flesh and enjoy drawing attention to our bodies. The practicality of it and its uses; which is so often overlooked. It sustains us, and is the reason for our being, yet we rarely give it a second thought, other than if we think we look good or not. I have been investigating flesh as an object and imagining it as a material that can be used externally to our bodies. This has resulted in creating domestic objects made in flesh.
